By using the Urii platform (urii.in), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Urii
Urii is an on-demand errand and delivery platform that connects customers with independent delivery partners ("Runners"). Urii facilitates the connection — we are a technology platform, not a delivery company.
2. Services
Urii offers the following services through our platform:
- Grocery shopping and delivery from local markets
- Document and parcel delivery
- Medicine pickup from pharmacies
- Gift shopping and delivery
- Bank and office errands
- Custom errands as requested by the customer
Urii is not a pharmacy, grocery store, or retail business. We facilitate pickup and delivery of items from third-party shops and establishments.
3. Payments
- Customers pay the service fee to Urii via UPI or other accepted payment methods.
- Payment for items purchased (groceries, medicines, etc.) is made directly to the shop/vendor by the customer via UPI/QR.
- Runners are not authorised to collect cash for items on behalf of Urii.
- Service fees are non-refundable once the Runner has been dispatched, unless the order is cancelled by Urii.
4. Order Cancellation
- Customers may cancel an order before a Runner is assigned at no charge.
- Once a Runner is assigned, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate the Runner for time and effort.
- Urii reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion if a Runner is unavailable or the request is deemed unsafe or illegal.
5. Item Accuracy & Liability
- Runners will make best efforts to purchase the correct items as requested.
- Customers are encouraged to use the Video Call Shopping feature to verify items before purchase.
- Urii is not responsible for the quality, freshness, or condition of items purchased from third-party shops.
- Urii's maximum liability for any order is limited to the service fee paid for that order.
- Urii is not liable for any damage, loss, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, shop closures, etc.).
6. Prohibited Uses
Customers may not use Urii to:
- Request delivery of illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items including narcotics, drugs, controlled substances, weapons, explosives, or any item banned under Indian law (NDPS Act, Arms Act, etc.)
- Provide false or misleading information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse Runners or Urii staff
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
7. Age-Restricted Items
By requesting delivery of age-restricted items (such as alcohol or tobacco), the Customer confirms that they are 21 years of age or older and legally permitted to purchase such items. Urii and its Runners are not responsible for verifying the age of the Customer — the responsibility lies solely with the Customer.
8. User Data & Privacy
- Urii collects your name, phone number, and delivery address to fulfil orders.
- Your phone number is not shared with the Runner. All communication happens through the Urii platform (in-app audio/video calls).
- Location data is used only for delivery tracking and is not stored after order completion.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
- Push notification permissions are used only for order updates and delivery alerts.
9. Runner Conduct
- Runners are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
- Any misconduct, harassment, or dishonesty by a Runner should be reported immediately to Urii via WhatsApp.
- Urii will take strict action including permanent removal of Runners who violate our code of conduct.
10. Limitation of Liability
Urii provides the platform on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Urii's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the service fee paid for the specific order in question.
11. Changes to Terms
Urii reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
