Urii ("we", "our", "us") operates the urii.in platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

From Customers:
- Name and phone number (for order placement and communication)
- Delivery address (pickup and drop locations)
- Order details and service preferences
- Payment transaction references (UPI)
- Push notification tokens (for order updates)
From Runners (Delivery Partners):
- Name, phone number, and photograph
- Aadhaar card and driving licence (for identity verification)
- Vehicle registration details
- GPS location (while logged in and on duty)
- Push notification tokens (for order alerts)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account on the platform
- To match customers with nearby Runners for order fulfilment
- To provide real-time order tracking on the map
- To facilitate in-app communication between customers and Runners (without exposing phone numbers)
- To send order updates and delivery alerts via push notifications
- To verify Runner identity and eligibility
- To resolve disputes and handle customer support
- To improve our platform and services
3. Data Protection Measures
- Customer phone numbers are never shared with Runners. All communication happens through the Urii platform (in-app audio and video calls).
- Runner GPS location is used only for order assignment and live tracking during active deliveries.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Identity documents (Aadhaar, licence) are used solely for verification and are not shared with customers or third parties.
4. Data Retention
- Order data is retained for business records and dispute resolution.
- GPS location data is not stored permanently — it is overwritten with each new location update and cleared when the Runner goes offline.
- Identity documents are retained as long as the Runner's account is active.
- Push notification tokens are deleted when a user unsubscribes or the token becomes invalid.
5. Data Sharing
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
- We may share data with law enforcement authorities if required by law or court order.
- We use Firebase (Google) for data storage and push notifications. Google's privacy policy applies to their infrastructure services.
6. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing (this may affect your ability to use the platform)

7. Cookies & Local Storage
Urii uses browser local storage to remember your login session and active orders. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
8. Children's Privacy
Urii is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
